Wikipedia is well known among librarians and academics as a rather unreliable source of information. In light of the Climategate scandal, this latest article by Lawrence Solomon, discussing how one Wikipedia editor chose to insert his biases into climate-related articles, is particularly interesting.

And if you’ve read the Climategate emails, the 2007 discussions on Wikipedia regarding the Mediaevel Warm Period article give one quite a sense of deja vu.
